Boyd’s Trees of Hope tradition returns

Nonprofit organizations in Southern Nevada will be on the receiving end of Boyd Gaming’s generosity as they participate in the annual holiday tradition, “Trees of Hope.”

During this year’s holiday season, Boyd will award more than $40,000 to local charities from the popular tree-decorating competition. Properties including Aliante, The Cannery, The Gold Coast, Main Street Station, The Orleans, Sam’s Town and Suncoast will host 35 competing nonprofits, whose tree-decorating skills will be judged by Boyd customers voting at each property.

The top performing charities at each property will win a grand prize, with a guaranteed minimum cash price of $500 for every organization that participates.

All applicants must represent a certified 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization serving Southern Nevada, and provide proof of tax status. Charities can submit entries at TreesofHope@boydgaming.com by Sept. 30.
