CES K-9 donations enhance security

In June 2018, the blockbuster trade show’s owner/producer, the Consumer Technology Association, gave the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority the gift of Bo and Wells — two black Labrador Retrievers that are “vapor wake dogs” — to enhance the LVCVA’s security efforts.

MOVING PEOPLE: LVCVA announces collaboration with Elon Musk’s The Boring Company

If approved, The Boring Company would begin plans for a loop of underground express-route tunnels that would transport passengers in high-speed, autonomous electric vehicles across the convention center’s campus, opening in time for CES 2021. The people mover would also potentially link the convention center to Downtown, the Las Vegas Boulevard resort corridor and McCarran International Airport.
