Celebrate Global Exhibitions Day

Exhibit your support for Global Exhibitions Day (GED) on June 5, as Las Vegas — the No. 1 meeting/convention destination in North America for 25 straight years — commemorates the sixth annual celebration of the immense impact of trade shows on business, and as the driver of economic growth.

Launched in 2014 by travel associations, convention center operators, exhibition providers and tourism organizations, the first GED in Washington D.C. raised awareness of the importance of exhibitions and encouraged dialogue with federal legislators on important issues including timely visa requests and an international buyers program.

As the industry leader, Las Vegas annually attracts nearly 24,000 meetings, conventions and incentive programs. In Southern Nevada, the meetings industry supports approximately 70,000 jobs with an economic impact of $11.1 billion. In 2018, the city hosted 48 of the largest shows held in the U.S, attracting 6.5 million convention delegates.
