Magician aids Animal Foundation

Marking the third anniversary of his show, Magic Reinvented Nightly at the Linq hotel-casino, magic man Mat Franco has joined radio station KSNE-FM/Sunny 106.5 and Petco to collect supplies for the Animal Foundation, Nevada’s largest open admission shelter.

Now through Sept. 4, anyone who visits one of nine Las Vegas Valley Petco locations and donates a minimum of $10 worth of items from the foundation’s wish list — or a Petco gift card of equivalent value — will receive one complimentary ticket voucher for Franco’s production. There is a maximum of two vouchers per transaction.

The foundation’s wish list includes: blankets; dog and cat treats; collars, harnesses and leashes; dog and cat toys; canned cat food and milk replacer for kittens in foster care; milk replacement formula for puppies; dog beds; treat-dispensing dog toys; and Petco gift cards. This is the third year that Franco, an America’s Got Talent winner, has supported the foundation with this drive, which has raised more than $13,000 in animal care supplies and monetary gifts.

The Animal Foundation operates an eight-acre campus that houses and provides health services to save nearly 25,000 lost, unwanted, neglected and abandoned animals annually.
