Miracle Mile Shops go pink to fight breast cancer

Throughout the rest of September and all of October, the fountain at Planet Hollywood’s Miracle Mile Shops will glow pink to recognize October as National Breast Cancer Awareness Month.

Through Oct. 31, all change that is tossed into the fountain, as well as the indoor rainstorm, will aid the Susan G. Komen Nevada organization in its effort to reduce breast cancer deaths by 50 percent in the U.S. by 2026. The fountain will remain pink except for regularly-scheduled water shows, which happen every hour from noon to 11 p.m.

The Miracle Mile Shops partnership with Susan G. Komen Nevada is part of its “Caring, Giving, Changing” program, to raise funds for nonprofit organizations through community sponsorship and in-kind donations.
