Raiders raise funds for Veterans Village

The Raiders Foundation recently donated $150,000 to Veterans Village Las Vegas. Raised during the foundation’s inaugural benefit event “Celebrity Swing” at Topgolf, the funds will assist the nonprofit Veterans Village in its mission to provide transitional and permanent housing for U.S. veterans.

With the $150,000 donation, the village will be able to purchase six container homes for veterans who have completed its career and life-planning counseling program. Among those attending the recent donation ceremony at Veterans Village were Raiders President Marc Badain, several Raiderette cheerleaders and ex-Raiders Napoleon McCallum and Chris McLemore, both Las Vegas residents.
