“Hospitality Heroes” is a program created by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority (LVCVA), in conjunction with the U.S. Travel Association’s National Travel and Tourism Week, celebrated annually in May. The LVCVA (which produces Las Vegas Newswire) and its tourism partners honor employees who deliver superior customer service. Since the program began in 2008, nearly 600 “Hospitality Heroes” have been recognized in Southern Nevada. This series spotlights the 2019 Hospitality Hero winners.

Comments from Michael’s supervisor, Chelsea Conroy:

Brian consistently provides exemplary service to all of his guests at Bavette’s Steakhouse. When Brian is serving, he is not delivering food, he is delivering experiences. Brian has a natural way of connecting with guests. Whether it is their first time to the restaurant or they are regulars, Brian leaves a lasting impression with his bright smile and always genuinely friendly demeanor.

“Brian’s outstanding service has helped elevate Bavette’s to be one of the top-rated restaurants in MGM Resorts’ portfolio — 4.5 stars on Yelp and TripAdvisor, and 4.7 stars on Open Table. Brian was a server at Brand Steakhouse when the property was Monte Carlo. Although the steakhouse changed, guests weren’t just coming for a great meal, they were coming because of Brian!

“We have many guests that were regulars at Brand, that now frequent Bavette’s just to have Brian as their server. Here are some direct comments from guests:

If you visit Bavette’s ask for Brian! His knowledge of not only the drink menu but the food menu was impeccable. If you want the true experience, ask for Brian and I promise not only will the food be fireworks in your mouth but the service will match it!

Brian provided myself and my bride very special service during our stay at the hotel. When we requested his service for our wedding party dinner, he came in on his day off to be our waiter.

Brian, at the Steakhouse, was awesome. We would go back just because of him!

Brian, at the steakhouse, was such a joy to have! He was so warm and friendly, making sure we were enjoying ourselves and that everything was perfect. He was such a joy to be around. He really made our 10-year anniversary dinner special. We cannot thank him enough!

Conroy concludes: “Brian exemplifies the model employee at Park MGM with his ability to connect with guests, create lasting memories, and spark wow moments that leave our guests wanting more. We cannot think of anyone more deserving of this prestigious award than Brian.”
