Wynn, Make-a-Wish help teen make her own music

Cystic Fibrosis sufferer Sarah Hodge — who undergoes treatments twice daily and says her bathroom is so clogged with medications that it resembles a pharmacy — got a big emotional boost recently thanks to Wynn Nightlife and Make-a-Wish Southern Nevada.

At a “reveal party” at Intrigue nightclub at Wynn, Hodge, a passionate music lover, was gifted with everything she needs for a home music studio. With a new MacBook Pro, music editing software and in-studio instruction she can create and edit her own music. And to crown the event, Hodge was cheered at the nightclub presentation with a surprise appearance by resident act The Chainsmokers — who took a selfie with her — along with DJ Marc Stout.

Born with Cystic Fibrosis, Hodge’s condition is aggravated by pulmonary complications, making every day a challenge as she tries to keep her lungs clear and deal with shortness of breath.

Told beforehand that she was attending a Make-a-Wish event as one of numerous child/teen ambassadors of the organization, Hodge was surprised upon arrival to discover the party was exclusively for her.

Hodge was escorted with her family to the property by a limousine courtesy of Wynn, and was also treated to a dinner at Lakeside at Wynn, hosted by the property.
